Let’s start off by stating for the record, I’m not cheap. That being said, I don’t believe that you have to spend a lot (or any) money to have fun. Not that there’s anything wrong with finding ways to save money when you have a (greedy) family of five living off of one income. “Siri, remind me to write a post on how I can increase my cheapness”. (Also, don’t have a iPhone 4S; however, I like to pretend I have one). Anyways, while loitering around the house looking for something better to do, I remembered something I had been putting off doing until the kids were older, Geocaching.  (more…)

So there I am on a hot, sunny, Saturday evening cooking dinner for the family. The Wife and Baby are busy in the living-room while the 2 older boys, Grumpy Bear and Megamind, are running amok in the backyard doing what boys do best. That was before I got in the “zone” chopping up the vegetables and just when I realized that it was too quiet outside I hear the crash of the screen door being flung open. (more…)
