While I set forth to fold the 6 loads of laundry I just washed today, I couldn’t help to feel a little resentment regarding the sheer volume of laundry we have in our household. You see in that 6 loads, maybe 7 items of clothing were mine.
Even the baby, as shown in the picture, doesn’t like the laundry…

Since giving up the commute, the comfy office chairs, and the world of coffee breaks, I have been struggling with something that has been taken from me. I knew there would be some concessions made and I’d have to give up some of the perks that working people get, but this is so inhumane I couldn’t live without it any longer.

Just the other day, there was a disturbance in the fabric of the SAHD’s on the Twitter. All it took was one tweet to make a mountain out of a laundry pile. As it turns out, laundry appears to be a rather touchy subject for those Dads staying home tending to the family.
